Here's the deal:  The First Annual BS East Feast will be held Saturday, October 17 at Beaver Springs Raceway in Beaver Springs, PA.  I have the pavilion reserved under my name, we will grill & feast to capacity.  There is open test & tune from 10 AM - 4:00 PM; cost is $37 at the gate.  If you are driving a Ford you are welcome to stay until 8:00 PM-- CJ Pony Parts has the track rented in the evening and they are welcoming any Fords to participate.

For directions, type "Beaver Springs Airport" into the computer maps.  The track is along Route 235; it is 2 miles north of Route 522 and about 12 miles south of Route 45.

Here's a link to the tracks site:  http://www.beaversprings.com/

If you need lodging, there are motels in State College, Harrisburg, Selinsgrove, and various other towns nearby.  If you prefer to camp, there is a plethora of camp groves in the locale.

Someone will need to bring a grill.  I would bring mine, but I want to race the Malibu so I won't be able to haul a grill to the track.  Volunteer, please?

Starting roll call:  My wife and I will be there.

If we drive a GM car, we can't stay and watch, and not participate?

Its open test & tune from 10-4; anybody can race just about anything during those hours.  CJ Pony Parts has the track rented from 5-8; they are inviting any Fords to participate.  CJ's is a local Mustang parts retailer.

The 17th looks good so far, Hopefully wifey can come along since this is plenty notice.

I have a small tailgating grill I could bring even if I bring the cougar. Only can cook a 1/2 dzn burgers at a time though.

As soon as I make a Hotel reservation I will post it for others.

If we come down in my truck, I can load up my grill, but I'm scheming on a far more appropriate ride.
