Provided I can get things to fall into place..
Plan a was to run my 47 Chevy 5widow but that not going to happen (she just to far away)
Plan b..... will go provided i can get pieces together for it, 83 dodge d150 short bed. Stock running gear is a slant 6 and 4 speed. But how about be a "hot rod" stock? I have located a turbo off grand national. That should get power up enough to run with the crowd, then lower hole truck about 4-6 inches, and a pet of alum wheels. Going to leave the paint (or whats left of it) alone, maybe some 20 percent clear... it has that barn find/patina look going for it. It not a pretty truck bout a solid driver......
Plan c...... will be a the Champaign and st Louis stops in the wife's Tahoe/grocery getter

The Mach 1 is ready for the most part. Wax it and change the oil, then pack the trunk. My 79 Indy F-150 is coming together very nicely. Paint and decals are done. Door panels and speakers are back in place. We've got about 2 days worth of work to do before it's presentable. My buddy Larry Lester and his daughter are going to drive the truck from Madison to Memphis and then head home. Tracey and I will be in the Mustang till you guys get tired of looking at it. We are long hauling again in the deep south without even a hint of air conditioning. Here's a couple of shots of the Indy truck, and my grandson Jackson who has officially proclaimed it as his truck.5 Photos
