also clue him into LS1tech.com its been a great help to me and my 99 with all the weird electrical issues I have had IE: grinding headlight motors(wait till get hears this for the first time giggle) front park lights and radio, window that intermittantly quit for no reason hint is the BCM -lots of good stuff so if he has anything weird going on or starts up
