    I think that they went "casino" back in the early 1980's. They were plenty "Wild West" before that. I used to have pictures of motorcycles lined up from the top of the hill down both sides as far as you could see. That would be the street with the Buffalo & the #10. Our main hangouts. I think that the Nugget was somewhere in there too. Wish I still had the pictures but the ex ended up with those. Deadwood killed themselves for Sturgis week when they tried to make everyone park in "community" parking lots & ride a trolley to bar row. Not going to happen with that crowd. At least not back in those days. Lots of Harleys being stolen back then. No one wanted to be further away from theirs than the curb outside of the bar.
