I should be getting into the hotel (Hampton Inn - Ocean Springs) sometime Monday night. I called and confirmed that they will allow us to use the hose behind the building to wash cars. My plans at this point are to get up early on Tuesday wash the car and then head over to registration and the "Salute to Our Veterans" gathering. Don't have a lot of plans beyond that. Going to meet up with Dave sometime Wednesday afternoon. All of this is of course dependent on nothing unexpected happening in the mean time.

We plan to arrive in Ocean Springs Sunday afternoon, and are staying at the Cypress Creek Best Western, north of I-10, about a 1/4 mile from the Hampton Inn. I'll be looking for the Ford wagon and we will be driving the blue '68 Camaro convertible. Dave, will you be in the yellow Dodge or the truck?
cstmwgn, to avoid the traffic congestion from the intersection of I-110 and Hwy 90/Beach Blvd later in the week, go west on I-10 to Cedar Lake exit, go south to Pops Ferry Rd, take a right on PFR to Pass rd. If you want to go to the coliseum, take a left on Pass Rd, then a right on Beauvoir Rd which will take you to Hwy 90.
If you want to go to the mall, take a right on Pass Rd and then a left on Eisenhower Rd which ends at the mall/Hywy 90.
If going to Cruise Central, go west on I-10 to Hywy 605 (Lorraine Rd/Cowan Rd) south to Hywy 90, then right to Cruise Central.
Expect HEAVY traffic from I-110 to Cowan Rd.

Boy John that's quit a story....Jack I'll be in the Dodge by day and the "Beast" by night. I'm going to call Allen Wednesday when I get there and hopefully we can rendezvous with you tooLong Haul Gang 2011,12,13,14,15,16,17,19

Cruisin' the Coast is history for this year. We saw several Long Haulers that we met on PT in years past and met several new people, Including Alan (cstmwgn). Since Phil/Omaha could not attend, several of the guys that have met him on PT did drink several beer toasts to him. I talked to Big Dave several times, but we never did catch up with him. There were over 7,300 vehicles registered.
