Looks like fun ... and has been going for longer than the Power Tour, has four times the cars to look at and a bazillion times shorter !
It looks like all the venues are open during the entire Cruise week and you just do your own run (approximately 29 miles long on Hwy 90) and get your credentials stamped at each one. Last year they had 7,042 registered cruisers.

        Venues
        Ocean Springs - Downtown area
D'Iberville - Municipal Complex off Auto Mall Parkway
Edgewater Mall - parking area on the west side of the Mall
        Pass Christian
Bay St. Louis - Downtown area
Mississippi Coast Coliseum - Swap Meet (not a stamping site)

        Thursday to Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

        Fun Facts
The event is open to 1989 and older vehicles.
Only Registered Cruisers may drive into and park in the different Venues.
Specators are welcome, but have to park off the site and walk in to take part.
There is no admittance fee for the venues, there is a fee for the Swap Meet.

        Early Registration (by August 15, 2014) = $60 (includes participant t-shirt)
        On-site Registration = $90 (does not include participant t-shirt).

First 2,000 Early-Bird Registrations will also receive a 2014 Commemorative Poster.

We have been going since 1999. We arrive on Sunday and stay until the following Sunday. There are events going on every day, Thursday, Friday and Saturday are the days the venues are open. Go to their web site or you tube for information. There is to much going on to try to tell you here. Hotels are near full now. Your best bet to try to get a hotel room is close to I- 10 or towns east of Ocean Springs at Gautier, Moss Point or about 30 miles north of Gulfport at Wiggins.

            Thanks Jay

I have mailed in my entry form and fee.
I have a hotel for the week (Monday - Sunday) but it is not that close to the main drag - Hampton Inn on Big Ridge Road (near I10 north of Ocean Springs). Big Dave is doing some reconnaissance to see if there are any better options this late in the game.

I was told that the only people that get there early (Sunday - Tuesday) were a bunch of old geezers taking advantage of the early-bird specials.

So what are the "top 3" can't miss things I need to research (you know like magnets on PT)

We are at a Best Western close to the Hampton Inn (By Choice) If you are on the "Main Drag" (between the mall and and Biloxi Bay, the traffic Thrs, Fri, and Sat is terrible. You are in a good location. Big Dave is correct about US geezers trying to save money. You can always visit him on Beach Blvd. There are no magnets to worry about. The biggie is to get your card stamped at each venue where you will have a chance to win one of the $500 drawings. Cruise Central on Monday, the VA Hospital on Tuesday, the Block Party in Biloxi on Wednesday, special entertainment at the casinos at night, the dragstrip will be open on the weekend. Beach Blv. (highway 90) is over 30 miles long from Ocean Springs to Bay St. Louis (and beyond) for great cruising. Lot's of burnouts at the traffic lights on Beach Blvd. Lot's of Power Tour cars there.

Next year. This year we are going to be in Vegas for our twentieth anniversary. I couldn't talk her into changing those plans.

Would love to go, but expecting a grandbaby right around then. Also a little bummed that my car is not eligible to register. Guess I could just attend (next year) and enjoy.........

Diane, don't worry about the year of your car. You can do anything the registerd cars can, except park inside the venues. Plus, you will save $75. Cruisin' on Beach Blvd. for over 30 miles beats being parked any day. Good luck with the new grandbaby, ours are coming to Cruisin' the Coast for the first time this year.

Dang our outages here at work get in the way of this every year. I can't take time off during a outage. maybe one year soon though we will have a quite fall here.

We have gone pretty much every year for the past 5. Always a good time but Saturday night is a little out of hand for me. I do like watching the cars cruise that night. We stay on the east end of the strip where ever we can find. Good luck finding a hotel room now.

For the first time, I am taking my truck this year provided it lives thru Drag Week.

The spots I really enjoy are 1. Ocean Springs- cars parked everywhere and plenty of shade- it was too freaking busy last year on Saturday afternoon because of the shade. 2. Bay St. Luois- becoming a bigger spot each year it seems like. No shade but a nice venue. 3. Edgewater Mall- No shade here either but it seems like there is more variety there.
Why think when you can be doing something fruitful?
