Since i didn't have many respond to the ride home party i am changing the party to a bbq and fire pit night on Wednessday June 11th after the Crown Point show! I am going to stay at home that night, so figured why not!
The route for the Thursday runs about 10-20 minutes from my house and i am about 10-20 minutes from Heidts for the lunch stop. We are located in Round Lake, IL that is about 1.25-1.5 hours from Crown Point. I can tell you from living in Chicago my whole life that you are not going to want to drive the Chicago traffic to Heidts on Thursday morning. Rush hour runs from 6am - 9am.
My house will open up about 5:00pm - ??? to anyone that wants to swing by we will have burgers and brats for the grill, and my wife is making some dips and salads. Otherwise it is bring your own booze we will have soda and lemonade. The fire pit will get lit about 730/800 and we will have smores for all.
If you are coming this way you are more than likely going to want to stay up this way. There is a HIE in Lake Zurich, IL about 20 minutes from my house that is 10 minutes from Heidts they still have open rooms as the last i checked. There are other hotels in the area too they are just the wrong way from my house to Heidts, but still within 30 min drive in the morning.
This is very similar to how peewee's event ran last year and is nothing formal. Directions and address will be sent out to anyone who RSVP positive that they are coming. So i need you to RSVP via PM or on this thread so that i know how much food to have, and also to whom I send exact location too.
For those of you that have RSVP'd for the Ride home party just let me know if you want to stay on the list for the MIDWAY party.
