First time I had some I was in 1981 working for a oil company doing survey work, funny enough in your neck of the woods Dave and as I remember it was pretty good, of course I was consuming large quantities of adult refreshments. Be nice to try it again.

LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! My first trip to to Louisiana was to Lake Charles. My brother played football for Montana State. We were tailgating with the crew from McNeese State and one of the Cowboys fans told me this exact thing. He was very right. I didn't try it with a beer though.

Count me and the boys in, were booked at the Quality Inn on Norman station Blvd in Mooresville Friday and Saturday night.

On Friday June 6th there will be a cook out at my house in Mooresville with burgers and hopefully Wisconsin Brats.

On Saturday night, June 7th there will be a big party at Randy's (rust truck) house which is in Mooresville about 2 miles from my house. There will be North Carolina BBQ, hush puppies, slaw and Italian food. We will have plenty of beer, bring your own bottle.

The swimming pool will be open, plenty of parking and there is room to stay in the house or camp in the yard.

Both places will have lifts open for any service or repair work needed.

There are plenty of hotels, with a deal at Comfort Inn on highway 150. It is about 2 miles from both parties.

We plan on leaving Mooresville when the driver meeting starts at Z Max, and pick the route up from here.

If possible, please let me know how many and which nights so we can plan the food.

The VA Home Visit is from 1-3 on Friday. Does any one want to go go cart racing at GoPro Motorplex in Mooresville after the VA? I was thinking a couple of 10 lap races then on to the cook out at my house. This is a lot of fun.

The other option is a race shop or car museum tour.
