That's usually the hardest part of setting these trips up. Trying to find hotels at a good price point, that are in a good area, that will let me bypass their 2 night minimum, while still having enough room for all of us.
Especially with our locations this year, because they are very pricy areas to start with

We have already reached capacity at a minimum of one hotel already. This means that if you haven't booked your room already, you are not guaranteed to get one at our "host" hotels. You now have to hope they still have rooms left in their general inventory and I think that's going to be tough.
If you are able to secure a room from their general inventory, you can still get NERR's heavily discounted rates up until our actual cutoff dates, if not you'll have to find a hotel somewhere nearby on your own and expect to pay much more

If you guys come in early enough, there is PLENTY to do around the area. If I can get the night off from work, I'll be around all day, so I'll try and hook up with some of you on Thursday or you can come by my house for a couple of wobbly-pops (or just regular soda for you non-drinkers )

There will be plenty of white zinfandel (as Hollie likes it too), but the Cherry Coke.......... I'll have to make a special trip for that. We usually don't drink that strong type of stuff around here.

Well, now with everyone having this year's HRPT out of their system they can start planning ahead for this October's 7th annual NERR as we take our 3 day cruise though some of the Northeast's most scenic roads. If you do plan on joining us this year, don't delay because this is one trip that if you wait until the last minute to try and make your arrangements, you will DEFINITELY miss out on a great time.
Our first day's route is pretty solid already and day two is close to done also. As always, you can find everything you need over at www.northeastrodrun.com
So far we have people coming from as far north as Canada, west from Michigan and south as far as Maryland. Most of them are returnees from previous years, but there are some new ones coming in from those locations also. Can't wait to see all the familiar faces come October and looking forward to finally meeting the new ones too.

Pre-ran all of Friday's and part of Saturday's leg of the trip recently and I think everyone should be very pleased with it.
If you don't live near the coast, I think you will enjoy this part of the trip the most. Definitely lots of scenic photo opportunities along the route.
We are now less than 3 months away from kickoff

As of today, we have close to 30 rooms booked for our Saturday night stay. If you know anyone that plans on going, but hasn't booked yet, you might want to let them know because our host hotel has a single digit number of rooms left and if they have to go out on their own, chances are that the hotel is going to require a 2 night minimum stay..... if anywhere else even has rooms left

We aren't actually going to Acadia this year, but I just wanted to show the types of places that we visit on NERR. Acadia National Park was just rated as the #1 National Park in the USA and NERR has visited there twice and will be going there again on a future trip.
