it's allens question, so he would have to answer that, but the question says "how many power tours..." , not how many "power tour stops...". i know you won't be able to sleep until this matter is settled, so that's my best interpretation.

Under strict interpretation - I do not believe that the word STOP was used anywhere in the question. So in my opinion your state does not have to have a stop (event city / lunch break) scheduled in it - the route merely needs to go through your state.

Counting multple stops would be somewhat similar to counting horsepower in forward and horsepower in reverse and adding them together for total horsepower.

So is that the difference between gross and net horsepower? One is some and the other is the sum

While it is true that some is often more than none it is rarely enough!

Alabama has had it 4 times......2005 Birmingham, 2010 Birmingham and Mobile, 2011 Montgomery, and once in the 90's I think ACC carpets was a lunch stop in Anniston AL that as it passed through the state.................

also I think Florida had a Power Tour end in Jacksonville on year in the 90s it went along the I-10 route.............

also has Tennessee had it 5 times 2 Nashville 2005 & 2011, Memphis 2007(?), Bristol 2009, and Chattanooga 2010......forgive me if the years arent right but the stops are.........
That steely eyed look I had behind the wheel was me trying see..........

We live in RI so NO Power Tour stops for our state.

Our first Power Tour was 99 East, starting in MA. That route traveled through PA, MD, SC, GA, ending with two stops in FL.

You guys (and gals) in the midwest can slip your shoes off if that will help you come up with a total for your state.
