Greg, I'm with Steve..Two weeks short of a three year project, 144,835 views and 2,656 posts and you still haven't finished yet. You could have bought two of these by now after all the time you've spent just writing about it. I like the original photos where it's all down to the metal..Kinda like a DeLorean look..Maybe you're thinking of just clearing her? Now that your winter is here I'm sure you'll get some time and maybe we can all see this beast soon. Best of luck and keep up the good work..

Well I'm just a slack ass I have slowed my work schedule down to 20 hrs a day so hopefully I can get something done here pretty soon. If I was retired I still wouldn't have enough time to get much done. Don't give up on me I'll get it together soon.

Some do not realize how many irons we maintenance guys have in the fire...at home and at work...If the only project we had to do was one vehicle at a time and on a maintenance man's budget, it still would take longer than most understand... project creep is a disease that many suffer from...maybe we just don't manage our time well!?!? I for one have all the faith in the world in your progress!

Me too Greg. Mary's coupe is going slower than your Torino, and it still has a projected finish date..........'sometime'...........LOL! All these projects take are 2 things....time and money. Not one or the other, both!

Worked 17 hrs yesterday I had to drive to Springfield Ky. And then to Lebanon Ky and back to Dayton and now I have to get up at 4 am and go to Louisville Ky and deliver a load to a water treatment plant man I'm glad I'm a maintinence man and not a truck driver. Oh yeah I do it all that's why I ride the short truck

With the hours I have been working the last couple of years when I get a little time off all I want to do is sleep but I do dream of working on the Torino. Someday I will finish her it took me 5 yes to finish the Pinto it takes time when you want to do it all yourself so the rest of the time you just set around and talk about it. I will talk to you all later my ride awaits.

I do have the Pinto in the shop I'm getting ready to pull the trans out and replace it with a new TCI C4 unit from Jegs. Merry Christmas to me and to you all.

No but it can't seem to hold up at the track after a few runs down the track it wants to shift funny for awhile and needs longer to warm up to shift at all at times. I think it's time to get rid of it and start with a new one.

Was going to go over and work on the Pinto but instead I helped a friend put a radiator in his mini van so he can drive his family around. Thanks to Auto zone for giving him a radiator that almost fit I had to make some fittings so the trans line would hook back up.
