Good luck! I'm considering going back to work but damn if I want to do the interviews any more. The last place I was at was adverserial as hell and I was internal... The external folks left with a minimum of a bruised ego. I don't get that style of interview, but that's the way it seems to be any more.Flying south, with a flock of bird dogs.Comment

You are absolutely correct... I am looking at this as positively as possible... this could get me more active, working for a family owned company that is well established and takes care of their employees! I basically made a "cold call" via e-mail, and they had checked my reputation with their employees that I had worked with in the past before giving me a phone call within 3 hours of the initial e-mail! then within another 4 hours, I had my initial pre-interview with their project manager! I hope this good streak continues! keep the prayers and well-wishes coming guys...It's working!Patrick & Tammy

Drove the truck home last night run great started back to work this morning made it the five miles to the freeway up the ramp we went got on the freeway and she dies off the side of the road we go. Just one of those days I forgot the cell phone luckily my son goes the same way to work so we waited. He said he was looking coming down the road and was thinking there's a truck like dad's then said wait a minute that is dad so he pulled over. I don't know if you guys remember and earlier post about a fuel gauge not working. Yes that's right I ran out of gas so we pulled it to the next exit filled her up and off we went again. Had a busy day had to go to the track and fix a generator then go to a buddies trans shop and fix a lift. Then I came home and mowed the grass washed the Pinto the truck and my motorcycle. Now it's time for a beer and a nap.

Got my door locks back today put them in so now I don't have to lock the doors with my finger. Man the truck is running so good and is probably getting 25 to 30 mpg. I've been driving her everywhere I love watching the young guys breaking their necks trying to figure her out. I had a telephone interview with one company today, and have a face to face at a site for another tomorrow ... I was asked to bring a hardhat and safety gear so he could take me into the plant to have a look around and an interview with the client's representatives..., if i have to do 5 days a week it will be 36K miles a years in commuting distance... Is that tax deductible?
