  • 2018 Starting Line?

I haven't seen anything posted on the FB page or here? But the past few years either Pilot or HR have "confirmed" in the final ceremony that "We'll be right back here next year."

Is it safe to say Bowling Green is next years start?

      Nice

Hoping to be back in for a 2018 long haul. BG is only 6 hours from me. I'll finally get to stop by the National Corvette Museum!

Heard it might return to first weekend in June. Made reservations just in case.

Pilot semi-confirmed BG would be the start in 2018. Who thinks it will be the airport again vs. Beech Bend?
            GM G-bodies, because I can't afford a 69 Camaro.

We were at Beech Bend for the Hot Rod Reunion on Saturday. That would be a great venue to have PT at.

Probably the airport the race track may not be able to pay hot rod that much to show up there.

I was hoping for Beech Bend since it should not be in conflict with any other event there next year. But about the business of the track vs. the airport paying Hot Rod, wouldn't it be the city, maybe through their chamber of commerce paying?

Beach Bend was a stop on PT in 2010 if I remember correctly.

The museum will be open. Unless GM changes plans, the Corvette Assembly Plant will be closed for tours for 18 months starting June 30th 2017. The airport in BG was a stop during HRPT 2010.

Jim, your correct. I looked at my pictures, we did go to Beach Bend and race in 2010, but the venue was actually the airport.

Rooms are already expensive for BG for the first weekend of June.

I made a reservation at the Econolodge on Scottsville Road for the 1 & 2. Friends stayed there last week for the Hot Rod Reunion and said it is clean but breakfast is not much. Several restaurants are close by. Hotels in surrounding towns are also expensive.
