I've got a place to stay 20 min from KC and took a gamble on a hotel in Bowling Green that has cancellation if needed. For those on a budget I would venture down the road a bit, the KC area hotels are always priceyHRPT 12 Miami and Stillwater, OK, 13 Arlington to Memphis, 14/15 Vetoed by Wife, 16 Long Haul, 17/18/19 motor fiasco

I go to the NHRA Hot Rod Reunion in Bowling Green when it does not conflict with the Hot Rod Power Tour. All of the hotel rooms and restaurants are full in the area during this event. Bowling Green is a great city for auto events but it can handle just so many people. The airport is in the same area as the hotels and restaurants. So if the HRPT is in Bowling Green, be prepared for one heck of a traffic jam and no where to eat or sleep.
