If you wait, all that happens is that you get older -
BWD has 2 lines.. the "standard brand" and bwd A/c delco has or had two lines also one with alum contacts and one with brass..
I doubt on a street car it makes much difference as g.m. factory cars/trucks have come with the alum contact caps for decades..
The HEI coil when good is more than enough juice, until you get past pumpgas compression or street use rpm.. that brass isn't giving you anything extra..
On a blown or n.o.s. engine ya..
There is more worth in what the cap material is made of than the contacts are alum or brass.. HEI caps most times are not a problem,untill you get into really cheap junk, cheap rotors cause more problems..

I went with the MSD cap and rotor. Although their product info claimed that they had brass contacts - they are not brass colored like my old Accel stuff was!Originally posted by corvettedad View PostComment

To me it looks like an old style cap with male plug wire connectors and no access window to set the dewell. I purchased the MSD cap and rotor based on recommendations from others here. I also made some notes as to what to look for in the autoparts store should I need one in a hurry somewhere.Comment

This is what the MSD cap (84333) looks like.
Unfortunately, the item that I ordered and now own - does NOT have brass colored terminals. It is a spare to carry for those side of the road moments in East Bangladesh!
