    • I went and bought a set of 134-A gauges and got my AC back to working at a nice comfy 45* at the vent while driving it! The temp reading in the pictures is while it was idling in the garage checking pressures. Click image for larger version

      • Just finished a four wheel rotor and pad upgrade from Power stop for the GTO. Rotors are drilled and slotted, and pads are street performance ceramic. Also changed the radius arm bushings front and back with Whiteline polys. Now off to get the alignment redone.

All I have to do is fix a few nicks and chips in the front grill and hood area, then respray some bad Clear coat.
It's always driving weather in Florida!

          • I had to ORDER plug wires for my SBC to get the HEI 90 degree wires I need. I installed the throttle cable that I also had to order because they don't stock them anymore. I got wire holders to keep them from melting like they are now. Car barely runs. I am on vacation this week and the swap meet is Saturday here in town. Still need new front tires or a set of wheels if the price is right.

GM has a probe in the grill area to get outside temp. I pulled the mirror and senor off I think a 99 Tahoe. I got as much of the factory wiring as I could for the install. Then all you need is a hot 12v and a ground. Once hooked up it does a calculation and it's done. That's GM though!

                    • Got the new valvesprings, locks, seals and retainers in from Butler Performance. As well as a trick little tool from Lisle to swap the springs. More importantly, I've recruited a fellow gearhead help to join the thrash!

                              • Mines got a new engine so I need miles under it to work out any kinks before the tour. I also need to look into an electric fan, new shocks. Needs a hell of a lot more then that to be finished but as for the tour that's all I'm looking at doing. Hope I don't break to much from now until then.
