I'm not sure if we'll even get close to San Marcos, TX on the official route.........it's about halfway between San Antonio and Austin. There is a truly unique auto museum there that is well worth making a side trip to see.........here's the website.
Cars from the 1900s to the 60s. Bicycles, boats, engines, memoriabilia. All top-notch. I highly recommend it.Last edited by oletrux4evr; April 18, 2016, 08:58 AM.Ed, Mary, & 'Earl'

I'm thinking me and the boy's are going by Houston Space Center when we leave Baytown for a couple of hours, my oldest is a space/astronomy enthusiast. Then we will beeline towards Austin! This will probably be the only deviation from the route this year BUT then again you never know!!Last edited by corvettedad; May 6, 2016, 03:46 PM.Pt 2010, Long Haul 2011,12,13,14,15,16,17, 18, 19, 23
