I like the route going east......maybe finish in Orlando or on the east coast of Florida....or, maybe South Georgia Motorsports Park on the way (all places we've been before)....

I'm still dreaming of ending at Zmax. The cities/route will determine next year's car for me.

not Miami, it's too far south. also, if it came to the central florida area, i owuld have to think Daytona.

Ending in Florda would mean we would be in the heat the whole trip with no relief. It needs to head North, whether thru Texas or Arkansas or Tennessee.

I would love it if it ended in Lincoln. But I am kind of prejudiced since I live here. But I think that you can just about permanently remove Lincoln from PT. Since the city got conned into giving the State Fairgrounds to the University (of NE), there really isn't anywhere left here to host 3,000-4,000 cars anymore. I would recommend the Iowa State Fairgrounds in Des Moines. That is where the Goodguys Heartland Nationals is every 4th of July weekend. It is a fabulous square mile venue with lots of shade & a sprint car track & grandstands to have the long hauler event in.

I think we've gone thru this before but it would sure be nice to hear something out of travel planners or hot rod about the tour. Although I won't be in a more modern car for the next tour, I'm all for it heading east and then south to the beach.

Maybe Virginia Beach, Pittsburgh, or Omaha. All would be interesting routes. Virginia Beach would be especially fun because we could hug the Gulf and East Coast the whole way hitting places like Pensacola, Savannah, and Charleston SC.
