2016 Route. Any guesses? Where would you like to go?

Just looked at the Hampton Inn in Gonzolas, LA where we stayed last year and they have no rooms available for June 3rd and 4th, 2016. Is it starting back there next year

We have reservations for next year at the Comfort Suites (where we stayed this year) in Gonzales. I try to make them early before the rates go up.

I could easily do a beach tour as long as it was in the South (east or west).

"Beaches" is the southern way to spell beaches, Y'all.

I'll go out on a limb and predict a re-run of the last 2 stops, like 2012..with Baton Rouge and Gulfport as the first 2. Would be nice to run along the coast, maybe dip in FL a bit then end at Zmax.

I would absolutely love that. 10 hour drive back to Gonzalez, if I get up early enough I could easily do that in one day (and I "gain" an hour too, making it even easier to do in a day) then keep getting closer to home the whole trip? I'm less than 2 hours from Charlotte.

I said I wouldn't do a whole run again for a while... but if it does come back that close to home it would be hard to not do it... but how likely is it that they would come back to charlotte so soon?

I thought Gulfport was one of the best venues. Huge shade trees, beach across the road... loved it.

I don't care, as long as the route passes by Hog Heaven BBQ in Laurel, MS. That was the best BBQ I've had in years.

Easy start for Big Dave! Enjoyed Louisiana and Gulfport too. Naturally I'd love a stop near Atlanta, but not in Atlanta or passing through town, that's a nightmare. That being said, the area by Chateau Elan, Road Atlanta is great and they have a round track, a road course and Year One nearby in Braselton. It would be totally awesome to go through there and up 441 through the Smokies!
