Friday night at the main stage they announced the 2016 tour was going to start at Lamar Dixon center Gonzales. Nothing was mentioned at the long haul meeting Saturday morning.

Agreed. My wife and I had a blast. Her ONLY complaint the entire trip was the heat. She's very "heat intolerant." We have a portable A/C unit in our bedroom because I can't afford to cool the entire upstairs to 60* every night (house is set at +/-72*). At first she said she would never go again (from the heat) but then said yesterday it would be fun to go again if they did an "all up north route".

I went to a couple of venues last year, and read all of the complaints from last year. Aside from some city traffic that you just can't control outside of a few venues, I don't think we ever waited more than a half hour from the time we hit "the traffic line" to the time we parked at any venue, and leaving most venues never took more than 5-10 minutes. We arrived at every venue from 3-4PM-ish. I thought all the venues were great.

I can't express enough gratitude to my group. My 65 died on Wed morning. Not one person in my group left until my car was going, even though I had mentioned a few times they could go on if just one or two cars wanted to hang back with us. We missed most of the route that day (it took 3 hours to figure out what was wrong and get it fixed - we spent a lot of that time hunting down a 289/302 distributor, I think we went to 3 parts stores.)
