Phil will drink most anything. Especially if you are buying. Last time that I was in Guffport (that's correct local) was about '94. Used to go there regularly back when we were still flying RF-4's. Last time was their first snow storm in many years. Still had snow in the pines when we landed late morning. It was all gone by mid-afternoon.
...when you got a fast car, you think you've got everything.

Beer you bet but I want a big platter of fried gulf shrimp, last time at the White Cap 1981 and it was great. Some night time beach air will be nice!

Katrina wiped out the old White Cap. It's now located on Beach Blvd. Last year in WV, I picked up some premium beer for Phil and I think it about made him sick.

Near Gulfport (Ocean Springs 18 miles) is McElroy's On The Bayou - recommended as a breakfast meeting place Friday morning since it's a short run to Gonzales (150 miles) if there is enough interest.

From Biloxi (where my room is) it's only about 10 miles. Smallblock said he's going to do some more looking around for spots too. He knew this one since he's been there during Cruisng the Coast..............we had a good time in the middle of Oklahoma when Bruce set it up.

McElroys also has a restaurant in Biloxi, never been there. it would be a little closer and have a better view for those wanting the ocean view experience. Jfyi.
