A guy that drives and co-owns a lil' silver race truck mentionned this on his FB page. 5 races 4 tracks "nearly certainly" booked for the last week of July. I think it would be GREAT if one or another (maybe both?) of the Online Live Streaming Drag Racing sources jumped on board...... Chad?, Brian?, Mark?

Oh yeah $15K to winner of Unlimited. REAL MONEY, not just a jacket and glory. CASH IS GOOD!

The big sticker on the FAST stuff is the 3300 Lb. min. I think this will encourage more entrants in both fast classes. Minimizing the rules and putting the other classes on indexes is pretty cool too. If you aren't ready to go fastest PERIOD race like a class racer.

I was planning on trying to make it to the Meltdown drags in July....so going on another long racing trip in August, then DW in September, isn't very likely. Unless I get off my butt and get a job or something.

                Rocky Mountain Race Week.

                Bandimere
                Pueblo
                Great Bend
                Kearney
                Bandimere

This is pretty interesting. Simple rules, and if DW is East Coast, like everyone is guessing, this will be much more convenient for me.

Keeping my eye on this one!

Man... talk about biting off more than you can chew.. I think the organizers should take a really long look at Drag Week, both the good and the bad, before rushing their "me too" event out. The class structure is a trainwreck (4 index classes? WTF? lump them all together like street Machine Eliminator).. and differing weight breaks for Unlimited? Hell.. might as well just call it "Outlaw Big Tire" - weight breaks for N/A and nitrous cars.. LMAO! Unlimited is UN-Limit-ed.

The "Sport Compact" class is a great idea, but the two "radial" classes? I sincerely wish the promoters luck, I really do.. but this looks like a mess!
                    DW2013 - DNF (Gateway - trans failure)
                    DW2014 - SR BB/PA class winner!
DW2015 - Finished in 1 piece (for once!)
                    DW2016 - Still "Fox Free" ;)

They're throwing a TON of names out there on Facebook too, which gives me a leery eye. One of the lessons of Drag Week is, you aren't there until you roll in on Sunday morning for tech.

Even I agree, the class break out seems pretty odd.

Calling out the Street Outlaws guys as well... More and more I think whoever the promoter is, fancies himself to be Donald Long (minus the profanity)..

Certainly has me holding onto my cash until fairly close to event time, AND see it on the different track's website calendars.

I wonder if they will put a car count on it for the event
