  • Tire rule will be changed

We'll be changing the tire rule back to allow slicks and DOT-legal slicks like the ET Street. You're free to share that info with whomever you like. -DF

Good deal! I'm still not sure why they considered making radials manditory. DF must be bored...I got an email too...

DF also promptly answered my question. Let's see how everything rolls out.

I can see them requiring DOT in Street Race, but the rest.

let's hope some of the other rules are changed back as well.

Requiring the same engine year cut off on the hotrod class as the gasser class sure seems to make sense, instead of leaving it wide open.

Im glad it got changed, I tried on sunday to make passes on my DRs, and it was horrible! After talking to M/T, Hoosier and Liberty they told me not to even waste time with a stick box and a drag radials.
