Sure, except that we all know a Topo needs an early hemi.

Less nitrous, OR we'll just replace with a forged piston each time a stock one goes! Well, it sounds entertaining if someone else does the swap(s). I'll probably just rebuild with forged slugs. We knew these were on borrowed time. The funny part was that our tow truck driver was the previous track manger. He had great stories between his twin-engine fed & being crew chief of the Cherokee Warrior.

Seems like a 125 shot shouldn't have melted a piston, I'd be checking out the fuel system.

a 125 shot on a 100 hp motor is quite a bit of juice

The delivery of the nitrous wasn't optimal either. Being fed into the intake manifold best we could manage. I'm sure a few of the cylinders were being fed quite a bit more than the others.

When you melt plugs with that small of a shot I tend to think you went lean of fuel.

Could be fuel slosh.... just sayin

Either way I big kick out of the Gremlin and if I run across a Gremlin X on the cheap I just might buy it

I've owned 2 Hornets and would kill to get a clean pre-75 AMC. You can't really kill them without nitrous.
My hobby is needing a hobby.

I had a Gremlin was back when for a brief moment in time. It totally sucked in the snow but was still fun to drive.

Who would of thought when you call AAA the guy who shows up is a 70 year old multiple world champion crew chief?! RC Williams. Best premature ending to DW ever. 2 hour tow truck ride with stories like this: http://www.nhra.com/blog/dragster-in...mmernationals/
