How Many Guys Have Dropped Out

Just wondering if they are down to the 300 car count
that HRM was looking to run.... if someone can post
up the number of cars at tech that would be cool... I'm
also wondering if the no refund has caused any issues
for the waiting list people(as in no one sent in a notice
that they are dropping out)

Buddy of mine that is there heard that there were 322 cars there in tech line, so no issues seemingly.

I left a message on Squirrel's facebook asking what his estimate of the car count is. Over 50 cars dropped out in the last few years, I'd be surprised if that number halved with even more entrants.

Thats pretty good... I expected more to drop.. but being that there
was no refund I also expected guys to try till the last moment then
say nothing.... but since they had 350 cars in and now its 316... not
bad at all.... I see Larry Larson showed up not long ago with the new
S-10... still has NEVER been down the track but will later today

309 Teched in, if 15 were wait lister/walk in's, then 57 folks dropped out. Sounds about right. Also means they likely didn't turn away any folks that showed up...

glad my withdrawal allowed somebody else to get in. I would have been really pissed if nobody from the wait list got it - in which case I could have run my "plan C" Mustang in daily driver without guilt.

Jay Brown just posted on his site fepower.net that he is out after 1 TnT pass. Something came loose in engine and exited the oil pan. Dry sump saved the day,he didn't oil the tires at speed.
