I should have followed along last year. I was in a slump when we went to BG. After seeing the cars and talking to a few people I came home and managed to get my slug self-mobile again. One year I will groupie DW and maybe if all the planets in all the galaxies align, I'll be able to participate one year.Comment

1. It was a joke (to be read in context of a couple of years of "insider" banter on this forum).
2. Isn't admitting that you got a "head start" e-mail about a week before the 8-minute "land-run" fiasco the rest of us outsiders had to get through essentially an ADMISSION THAT YOU'RE AN INSIDER!
BTW, didn't Eddie Miller mention something about Gasser/AFX being a "soft class"? . . . or not . . .

Nice! I did that in 2009 and 2010, then finally went in 2011. This year I'll be at my desk at work Monday through Thursday hoping meetings don't pull me away from my desk until the live feed is over. I feel your pain. I did participate in 2005-6 and had a blast. Just 13 second cars both times, but to be able to run the 1/4 5 days in a row, and watch the big boys go at it = priceless. Sigh. I feel your pain.Comment
