you guys are killing me. I'm thinking of coming out to Tulsa now for the start. And Topeka is right on my way home.....

How accessible are the pits/staging lanes/etc. for the non-participants?

I was only at Bowling Green last year and went wherever I pleased with no hassles from anyone. That being said, I also remain mindful of what others are trying to accomplish and try to stay out of the way.

Same boat ... planets aligned. Fanatical effort on my part for the past several months. Everything I paid someone else to do was completely f'd up with a total lack of concern. I was in modified PA. Friend of mine out of Nor Cal who registered for unlimited is also out. Had the option to take a loaner but just not the reason I was going for. Might try again next year if things work out but suspecting changes on rules, location, cost, etc might be for the worse given the amount of interest.
