  • Unlimited Rules for 2015. and beyond??

HOT ROD is “where it all began,” as the first magazine to cover the hot rod culture. Since that time, HOT ROD has evolved into a brand devoted to everything from hot rods to restomods, barn finds to project cars and everything in between.

I am on the fence here on this- Frieburger said in one of his Youtube video's about fastest street car racing that it always gets out of hand. Here he has a chance to reel it in and doesn't. I have read the reasons given in the article and have to agree with it, but to me it just means that the guy with the most $$$ is going to win it. It may take him a couple of years to get his car to finish, but he will eventually win it. I guess it should make for a good show. Turbos TTFMF!
Why think when you can be doing something fruitful?

doesn't matter what the rules are, money usually helps you win. It's always been like that.

Wouldn't E.T. PLUS reaction time make things interesting?

Not really, I know Lutz and Larson can cut lights if they need to. The evolution of anti lag devices and bump boxes is taking the spool factor out more and more. Right now there is no need to cut a light...so why stress it? Go ahead and take your time and leave the way you want to leave.

Do we see a new class being created to address the "production body" issue?
            DW2013 - DNF (Gateway - trans failure)
            DW2014 - SR BB/PA class winner!
DW2015 - Finished in 1 piece (for once!)
            DW2016 - Still "Fox Free" ;)
