Please leave your boring GM product at home!

With hot rod offering no refund it sounds like some people are going to show up with their boring GM products. Yea it sucks, but get with the program, if you weren't ready with a real car when you bought the ticket, that is your problem! Show up and watch if you must but please don't make passes in your boring GM product! No body wants to see that! Suck it in, take the loss and move over to let the real cars go by! Sucks to suck! Some dislike 16 second beaters.

I dislike GM's, so do me a favor and don't clutter up the staging lanes with those godawful things. Thanks in advance.

I am trying to remember how many competitive FORDS I have seen in Unlimited.... one that I can think of. I guess there are no fast Fords (that are all Ford) out there.

I don't really hate GM products, (although they are not my favorite). I was spoofing BigG's post whining about people using 16 second beaters. He said nobody wants to see your 16 second beater. My counterpoint is there are plenty of people that are tired of seeing Novas, Camaros and Chevelles or even Mustangs for that matter. If the Mustang happens to die between now and DW, you can bet your ass I will be there with my world famous 17 second Drag Week Durango, hot lapping with my middle finger in the air in salute of the haters!

Just because nobody does it at the moment doesn't mean it can't be done.

On the other hand, somebody entered in the slowest DW class . . . and who doesn't even have a running engine in his car yet probably ought not to talk too much smack. The LESS boys have already cinched up their bow-ties** and are scorching the track.

Sorry BBR, but neither of my Hemi powered Hot Rods won't be ready in time, so I have to drive my "plan C" GM. At least it is a semi-respectable Muscle Car. We don't need no stinkin' plan B new pickup trucks and SUV's hogging up the lanes...
