first test drive gave me a nice opportunity to remember what hitchiking was like when i ran out of gas... seems ok though. trans leaks a bit after the filter and gasket, need to plumb the wastegate and fpr into the intake tube, fix the leaky oil return flange, wire electric fan, and stick a bunch of dynamat to the bottom of my hood! then tune, fix, tune, tune, fix, tune.1980 Turbo T/A - Turbocharged 408ci Pontiac. survived DW 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015

Time is getting short! Only about a week and a half till I leave for Tulsa! New heads should be on and running by the time I go to bed Thursday night. That'll give me a week to drive it and two possible shots at TNT as long as it doesn't rain...Drag Week 2014 SR/BB/NA 11.12 @ 118.56 average

Ive got to get a driveshaft loop installed and like a little getting my nitrous finished up. May or may not run it. I haven't had time to really get my car properly tuned so I am hoping to get it dialed in on Sunday and spray enough to get me in the top 32 if it can be had without a roll cage. Im going to have fun no matter what and cant wait till this weekend.

Hey guys, I've got the Rambler Marlin. I've been wanting to post updates but just too busy with this whole deal. I figured what better way to celebrate Labor Day than to FINALLY finish getting it drivable BUT it still hasn't left the garage. It sounded great while we were getting through the setup wizard on the EZ EFI 2.0 but then died and lost spark and communication. It seems we have an ECU issue. I'll call FAST as soon as they open. I definitely planned to have some miles and passes on it by now but not the case despite lots of hours in garage worked around family and life in general. I'm guessing a few of you can relate ;-) With all new powertrain and other significant upgrades, I'm really hoping to resolve this issue and get some testing in. My wife is very supportive and I've got help from some awesome friends so I'm optimistic about seeing you guys in Tulsa. Ramble on!

I was really just seeing if I could take the entire car apart with only the contents of the tiny red toolbox.Life is short. Be a do'er and not a shoulda done'er.

I have a tool box that size, and I used to take cars apart with it's contents when I worked at the junkyard.
