    Rod those spring pressure I was quoting were on the sons engine... The ones on the truck are cheap enough to change every year at $80 but I don't... This year the plan is to spray the truck at no et nights hope she holds together

      Yes the black bird, just wish it was as fast as a SR 71. Coan 400 with a Venders, At least the heat issue is from 2 separate boxes and a 400 usually doesn't create too much heat. Moving converter stall to 4500-4800. I think engine is OK now as all I did last year was bump the rev limiter at the 1/8 mile when 2nd to 3rd never happened.

        Your converter choice seems pretty conservative. I was at 6000 for 2011 and 5800 in 2012 becuase we thought we might spray it, but didn't. No down the road heat issues at all even with the dopey trailer.. I added a Hayden fan to the tranny cooler for 2012 as insurance and that helped with True Street events in the heat.

          What dia is the converter. Still on the tight side


          Your trans cooling issues should be gone the 400 should run much cooler than the 200
