Plan and simple, its an attainable adventure. There are very few of them left.

I don't even drag race, but I've got it on my bucket list.
      I'm still learning

Wow! One of these days I want to learn to say that much in just 4 sentences....

MB, I thought the same about Bob's response just above yours. Attainable Adventure. Two words!

Well, then I guess I call the Cobra Jet, 4 Liter super charged 5.4 thank you.

There is that little issue of them all being no VIN body-in-white vehicles, but I hear there's a guy who can get a set of uhh, documents for the HRM tech process.

                        This is my backup ride.

I thought about the backup ride deal and if it was ok or not to run it if my car died before the event even started. My wife's Acura would be faster and more fun but it's bone stock and IMO that's not in the spirit unless you had a failure right before the event. My jeep has a stroked I6 and the entire drivetrain has been upgraded. I feel it's a more appropriate ride than the Acura since it is modified from the balancer to the rear diff cover. It hits the scales at about 4200lbs with driver and maybe has 240hp at the crank. Maybe it will be the slowest in Dd? Lol

There are some great wheeling opportunities if Dave puts us through downtown Dallas on the way to Ennis!
