          My 69 Shelby Mustang clone has small tires, but is back halved with a four link. It retains the stock front frame rails, but has a bolt in strut conversion kit from Fatman. It looks like it might fit in Modified, because it does use the stock front frame rails, but I think I'd better check with Hot Rod to be sure since the factory shock towers are gone; if they consider them part of the frame rails, Modified is a no-go. It also might fit in Pro-Street with a special approval for the front suspension, if I decided to put big tires on it. But I hate to do that, because the wheelwells are radiused for a 29.5" diameter tire. I'd rather not re-do that bodywork.

          Looks like I might be a special case again this year<sigh>. After last year's one day and out performance, I was thinking about coming back this year with three cars: My Galaxie with the 520" SOHC, my Shelby clone with the 585" SOHC, and my 69 Mach 1 with a new 530" High Riser engine. Figuring at least one of them would finish The Mach 1 fits into BB/NA street race with no trouble, at least. Hope I can get the other cars into competitive classes; we will see what Hot Rod says...
          Are you renting out the Mach? My all time fav car.

            Jay, I think you'll end up with the Shelby clone in Modified, the Galaxie in Super Street and the Mach in Street Race. The three car fleet would be awesome!

            I figure I'll be bringing up the rear again in Street race BB/NA.

              I think Bill has the 3 Classes right, might be a issue when it comes to the "Reserved Parking Lot"

                  If all goes right, I may take a shot @ SB/PA. Lotsa $$$ to get the car legal for the ET/MPH it should run. If not, DD again.

                    I have an important question about the rules, and would hope someone involved with rules related issues would get ahold of me.. I'm not that hard to reach @ 772.380.9111. I've left messages on DF's and MF's Facebook page, but nothing yet..

                        It's a crap shoot for sure. I' m wondering if I have to have a bumper period, not just a fiberglass substitute. Eddie you probably have an actual serious question, good luck with that.

                            Jay - I have a 428CJ 69 Mach1 that has never run since I've had it - does that qualify me to drive one of your cars?

                              Yes they were.. Once I actually got the email sent. I had sent an email into hot rod, waited a week, then went back and figured since I just got a new iMac, let me make sure the mail even went out, that I didn't screw something up, it didn't go out, so I resent it, and Freiburger got right back with me, and answered all my questions promptly!

                              Bill, he just doesn't like FORDS!!
