picking up the new block from the machine shop today. basically just moving the rotator into an early 400 block. the 9" is ready to paint and assemble before install. th400 is waiting to get dropped off at the tranny shop. roll bar tubing is still laying in the grass in front of my shed. just have to power through the heat. one of these days I will have to spend all this money on a shop so I can get out of the driveway.

Well after the engine fell on the front end of the car I'm still
working on that.... cant find a damn part for this thing.. so I'm
building it as I go.. the engine and trans are ready to go back
in after I get the front end done.. but the trans is new so I hope
it works... I'm building another trans as a spare and should have
it done in a day or so(while working on the front end... and I still
need to get a tune up on the injection yet

I got a few things fixed on the car yesterday. Still waiting for a new torque converter...the old one might survive one more trip, who knows. I do want to go thru the trans before DW.
