That's how is has been done before. When i watched in'09 i tried to park away from everyone so it did not look like I was helping anyone.
I personally wish they would separate where spectators parking and the competitors. I fear someone is going to lose equipment. Someone can park their vehicle next to a DWer's stuff, wait till they make a run then make off with tools, NOS Bottles, etc. Maybe I am just paranoid. .Neal

When we were in TN in 2013 Sussino had his jacket stolen, the spectators parked right on top of a bunch of us and actually had boxed me in to the point that i had to wait for the guy to come back to his truck and ask him to move it. If you are going to tag along just use your head, park decent distance away and walk over, and like others said, if you park with the cars it is going to look like you might be a mule vehicle.-Jeff

Tulsa did a pretty good job of making spectators park outside last year. That does not keep them from walking by and jacking your stuff though.Life is short. Be a do'er and not a shoulda done'er.

Spectators can do about everything the racers can do except go down the track. I do agree that the spectator's vehicles need to be kept separate for the reasons already discussed. We followed the first three days of DW13. In Indy they made the spectators park a mile away....that was a little extreme especially since we had beverages in the car!Drag Week 2014 SR/BB/NA 11.12 @ 118.56 average

I parked wherever the hell I wanted in '12, but it was usually down by the scoreboards so we could sit on top of the trucklet and watch the finishes without messing up anyone's view. There was parking that said spectator, but you drive over to the race cars instead like you know what you're doing and they leave you alone.Flying south, with a flock of bird dogs.

My son might come a day or 2 with his friend to watch... Is it possible to get a second driver wrist band if they are only going to race 1 or 2 tracks.. I know that the 3 times I have made DW they did offer second driver option sure how it works....Drag week 2009 Quickest street rod

What is consider a mule if your following and someone brakes as a Spectator are you allow to help them. Being its a Z06 corvette that I'm driving I could run for small parts or give them a rideDrag week 2009 Quickest street rod
