  • I'll build my own damn ecm

    this is genius

in the md 2000s, I burnt an ecm by washing the engine. of course, i cannot leave things alone, and I had blown up or melted every part of a PC for years along the way of building my own.

one resistor change and the whole map changed... craziest early 90s subaru ever.

cost: 50 cents for the resistor, and no premeditation what so ever. It just went perfectly animal.

anyway, there is the haltechs, and holley stuff on and on.
I still want a cold circuit only. fatten or lean. old carbs still sitting in the engine bay, just a few mods to change fuel.
this little gadget could make that happen, rest is up to me.

anyone ever thought of the 15 dollar final ECM for regular people? it is still missing, gluttons and greed thinking patience with code is worth 1000s of dollars per ECM.

they should all be 20 bucks and expendible.

Not exactly disposable, but it sounds like arduino would be a perfect fit. If you look around you can find them pretty cheap.

I am not crazy about the java either.
there is higher level langauge, bridged to C, your own C if you want...
not sure hoe that stuff gets in.

a lot of them, delphi, python, ms dos command scripts...
I hope it changes, java seems left handed...just another one.

            more java.

going with pwm anything and then mapping another way..
that is how I would do it.

the mchancal means to chaning stuff, it is getting fun..
will move onto ecm stuff some day.

I have a subaru ecm, need something to decipher it. Removing a maf circuit entirely would be a pile of gibberish removed for sure...just get to pwm and basics...go from there.
