    Saginaw power steering hose help?

In my search for a better handling fullsize car I am attempting to in stall a three turn saginaw steering box in my '77 Lincoln Mark V.
Everything is going OK (I did find that the factory rag joint was almost completely ripped....YIKES!) but I am having trouble getting a pressure hose that will work.

The pressure hose has a 3/8" nut and the hole in the gear box is freakin 3/4"!!! I haven't found an adapter that will mate the two and it is frustrating as hell....

Can I just go to a truck shop and have them fab a hose with my 3/8" pipe ends?
I suppose if I could find the correct nut I could cut the end of the pipe, slide on the nut and reflare.... Although my flare jobs have been hit-n-miss at best for a good leak free seal.

I have hydro boost brakes, so finding another "stock" application hose with Ford and saginaw ends hasn't been successful

Anyone else have any insight? It looks like the factory return line fits perfectly......which stinks, because that would have been the easiest to correct.

This is what I'm dealing with.....
    Pressure hose and pressure port

    Hydroboost/Ford end

Complete factory Lincoln Mark V pressure hose.

Maybe there is a hose some where that will bolt in, I don't know. But WIth that kind of a swap, I would think that the easiest thing would be to get the correct metal end that fits into the saginaw box, and like you say, have a hose shop crimp the lincoln hose to it. Good luck!
