The 572 is only available in a 10.2" deck height.
All other Mk IV, Gen V & Gen VI is an option of either 9.8" or 10.2". 9.8" being standard and 10.2" for truck applications.
This was because truck pistions had 3 compression rings and their pistons had additional compression height.
That's old and out-dated technology now, but the tall deck is a benifit for longer rods and/or stroker cranks.
454 was available in light trucks starting in 1973. 502 was never installed in anything, it was only a crate motor. 496 (8100) was used in trucks in the early 2000s
366 and 427 tall deck truck motors were available for a few decades, in medium trucks
to clarify...... GM didn't put BB in cars after the 70s..... but perhaps they put them in cars in some crazy country where the toilets flush backwards ;)

No big block was ever released in a car down here in the land of backward flushing toilets. :P Largest engine was a 351 Cleveland in many Fords and a 350 Chev in a HT Holden. (Bathurst edition only). Today the LS engines in Holdens are the largest to date. All small blocks though.
South Africa had a few muscle cars sold there but I doubt they had any either..

1976 for the 455's.
Cadillac's were techically big block cars up until the demise of the 6.0L in '81 or '82.
