Will a 4.3 flexplate work on a 350 ?

    Here's the flexplate off my '94 4.3 in a c1500 truck, note the large balance weight.


    same flexplate as the one on the back of my 350..
    and every one piece rear seal 350..
    be it a 87 up 350 or a vortec 350..
    they all have that big weight spot welded to them..
    no matter if they are in front of a th400 or a 7004r or a 2004r.

    That weight is to make up for the weight removed from the crank end flange on the one piece rear main seal cranks..
