Not sure if we are splitting hairs? but that would be a 414 ci. You would need a 4.071 bore with a 4.1 stroke to get 427. Love the car I am sure it will fly!

So what do you think about bore v. stroke? with the LS, the stroke is actually longer than the BBC...Doing it all wrong since 1966

According to the calculator in my Garage buddy app that will get you 427. Can you take a LQ9 block out to 60 over?
Can you get a 4.226 stroke to fit? that will also give you the magic 427 with the 4.01 bore.

Not suprised about the length of the stroke being longer. Not sure about the 4.226. What I would really like to do is build airon block 5.3 using the 3.15 stroke and the same bore as the COPO. Now that would be interesting. Everything is here, its all laying around the shop. Hope to have it together in the next few weeks. Got the turbos back from Work Turbochargers

We got the motor sitting in the car today and got the Vic jr back from Specialized Performance Coating. Was really pleased with the way that turned out. Specialized Performance Coating
