That's really great. Made me think twice about dismissing convertibles, which is what I normally do. Thanks for all the buildup photos.

Yeah, we needed to upgrade engine management to control the 4L80e transmission.

I always wondered how you manage not to lose the top at high speeds.

I don't know what events this car is planned for, but there are a fair amount of drop-tops that run the Silver State Challenge. I know I've seen them run in at least the 140mph average speed class. Those newer top material (nylon?) seem to hold up better and don't seem to stretch as much as canvas and vynle.

Clean set up, what plans do you have for it? I saw speakers still installed, daily driver??? ;D
                      Escaped on a technicality.

It actually is a daily driver, which is one of the reasons we went with a 4L80 instead of a th400. The car still retains heating, air conditioning and a full stereo system.

                            Hello Eric,
being a turbo IDIOT meaning I know nothing about them can you please explain to me what it does and how all the pipes are ran and connected and where does the exhaust go? I tried following the pipes in the picture to see what went where but I cant make heads or tails of it. ??? From what I have herd about them it takes exhaust gasses and putts it through a cooler and then back into the engine is this correct and if so why? Thanks man just trying to learn a little something that I have no clue about.
