Correct for $200!
No hassles so far. I don't really expect any issues with the front mount. The harness bar is the one I would get nailed for, but I have yet to have a tech guy open the door and look. They usually see the bar, harness, helmet and jacket and go on about their business.Life is short. Be a do'er and not a shoulda done'er.

Couple of updates. Been playing with the carb a lot lately. It's been fun and educational!
Picked up some MT 28/10.5-15 ET Drags to remedy the traction problem a few days ago. Today I ran out to the wrecking yard and snagged a Gen1 Ranger air dam for $10 to go under my car's nose and hopefully pull more air thru the radiator.Last edited by BBR; June 18, 2012, 02:24 PM.Life is short. Looks good to me if you would have used black zip ties i would say call it permanent! (as long as it does not flex at speed)

Went out Saturday, took some cardboard and made a template to seal up the core support. Then I traced it on some stiff corrugated plastic stuff. Cut it out and sealed it up with some aluminum tape. I did not have a chance to test, but the temps this week are supposed to be in the upper 90's, so I should have ample opportunity to do so.
I also bought another set of brand new rear wheels just like the one's I already have to mount the slicks on. A buddy of mine had them and he was willing to sell for a great price.Last edited by BBR; June 25, 2012, 05:57 AM.Life is short. Be a do'er and not a shoulda done'er.

Drove it down the highway today and it got up to a steady 210.... Of course it was 100 degrees out when I was doing it too and I got stuck behind a semi through the construction area.
I'd rather have it stay a little cooler even in 100 degree temps so I'm starting to think maybe a little larger radiator may be in order. The current one is a Howe 27 x 19 which has a 24 x 17.75" core = 426 square inches.
I am looking at a Griffin 31x19 which has a 26 x 18.8" core = 489 square inches or 13% larger than what I have.Last edited by BBR; June 26, 2012, 01:56 PM.Life is short. Be a do'er and not a shoulda done'er.
