Well my own projects are having a serious ducket problem right now. Just when I think I've got some funds set aside, another big bill comes along and I, uh...can't duck it.
Here, I'll do it for you... "Grrrrrrooooaaann...(roll eyes)
Few weeks back..........took shoebox in to have starter re shimmed.........wasn't up to crawling around on cold garage floor
Guess after sitting all Winter......it developed a bad wobble in front end
Turns out a warped rotor........so new front rotors, good Timken bearings & brake pads installed
So now's a good time to install those Global West upper a arms we talked about.........install went pretty smooth, couple of hours
And.......into project..........tie rods are junk, lower ball joints are junk...........so let's get all new Moog stuff and make it right & order the
cool billet adjuster, which was a good choice
Oh and while were at it.....lets tackle that rear end issue......over size Racemasters on there......running air shocks to keep them
from digging into quarters
Order up a couple of Towel City pie crusts cheater slicks......put 'em on two new Cragar one piece rims (not uni lug) and tuck 'em inside fender well
Took off rear air shocks and installed couple of new KYB's gas shocks
Much different look...........but what an improvement in driveability........and that's what I was looking for as I am taking longer and more road trips
That starter thing ended up costing me a few bucks :
