  • F100 on an Crown Vic frame...a little differently this time though.

With the 69 now being my daily I thought...let's do it again!

This time I'm not going to use the Crown Vic floor & firewall though. I'm just going to plonk the whole truck cab on the frame so I retain the truck dash & steering etc inside.

I picked up an 08 Vic local that was out of state & had been hit & the strip down commenced.

Got the Crown Vic booster mounted up & threw some bed liner underneath.

Great to see my first project featured here!

This second one is progressing nicely.

Fitted the electronic gas pedal, extended the brake master cylinder rod, cut the ECU wiring holes & seam sealed ready for some paint tomorrow!

Yeah. The orange truck got done twice.
A build was nearly complete on the original truck frame & then I started with the full frame swap.

So yeah maybe my third-ish build! lol.

They are scary as original compared to today. I had one.
the best steering box is still old tractor trailer sloppy.

the engine bays are so deep a 3208 cat at 10.4 liters fits under the hood.

              love the build... awesome.

The cab has been hit with as much paint as it's gonna get on the outside.

If I can find the bodies to lift it...cab on tomorrow & a new film on YouTube as well!

That angled driveway is NOT your friend! Cool that you're making it happen anyway. Fun watching your shortest helper.

Mate, you make my lunacy look downright boring. Reminds me of doing builds in a one car garage without power or heat. That is simply awesome work, love the orange one too. What would you ever do if you had a big shop with a lift and enough room to park projects? Man it would be epic for sure. "Make it happen" is your motto, isnt it.
