    Yeah, not one of my proudest moments.
    But after a month of fighting with exhaust and header modifications, I gave up and chose another mill. I even tried regular castiron manifolds, by even they wouldn't fit anymore.
    Because of the aftermarket Indy-heads and thick headgaskets, the engine's exhaust ports are pushed out and up much closer to other and delicate rubber components and steeringlinkages.

        Well it wasn't at the time, but that might be true ofcourse, but I'd rather have that blower engine 'purring' in the engine bay of that convertible.
        Instead I had to buy another engine and freshen it up a bit to get the car drivable again.
        At least I'm happy how the looks of the engine bay turned out.
