Just curious, what the differences in the scene between the two places. Same group of people at both events or is one a little more laid back than the other?

As I've said, I volunteer at Speed Week and I've visited El Mirage. Speed Week is almost overwhelming as there's SO much going on. El Mirage seems more laid back to me though both are VERY cool. El Mirage is WAY dirtier and is in the middle of nowhere compared to Bonneville - the Wendovers are semi-civilized.
