Badass....I have to make it up that way next year and we can go racing together.

Would be a riot....and with gas getting cheaper would probably only cost $100 each way....figuring 8 mpg.

The Green Valley pics are awesome. My brother has photos of our Dad racing his 29 Ford roadster, at the street rod drags. hopefully we can get some of those photos up here tomorrow.
as I remember, there was a lot of "woods" to go exploring around, when Dad wasnt in the lanes.

Hi Brian - That was Reid Whisnant out of Georgia then in front of him was Dyno Don in the Stang and I don't remember who the Red Camaro belonged to. just got the rear corner of my 65 Chevelle in the picture, out of all the cars I've had, that's the one I wish I would have kept, don't tell the Novas that I said that!

The Lee Edwards Camaro too, back in the day of the goofy engine weight breaks based on wheelbase, that's why, we all know, G&R went to the 4-door Maverick and Dyno, Glidden went with 1970 Mustang bodies. The Hemi was spanking the competition so bad they had to do something I guess. I really liked them Motor Wheel Flys.

No, I didn't really know much about Dickie Harrell, saw him once at this Match Race, must have been 1965. Now about Grumpy, I could probably write a book, he did my engines back in my Jr. Stock & Super Stock days.
