Really liking this......its an abomination to the purists, but what a neat piece. Looks animated.

this is/was a living human.
incredible valor.
army ranger 67-68 viet nam.
I joined several veterans groups.
The NAM is one of them. I was born in january of 1973.
war was declared over within 2 days of my birth.
coming back to earth myself.. (my tour kills recruiting - I say no more)
my first learnings of anything military were viet nam vets.
there was even a disgruntled one in our boy scouts as a leader.
I joined with those guys over my head.
I am glad they let me hang out there.
Robert j locklin army ranger, 2/12 company C, vietnam 67-68 recipient of the silver star, bronze star with a V, 3 purple hearts, presidential unit citations and most importantly my dad! He has quite a story for 18 months the nam, worthy of a movie. He is 69 and spends time going to local schools in Maine to share his experiences with kids from the 5th grade all the way to college kids, I've been showing him pictures from this Facebook page and if anyone was in Vietnam from his unit he would love to reconnect with you, send me a message if you were, it's getting harder to find people as the years go by
if any of us in the black holes of misery could learn from him....
I do stand alittle straighter, just knowing he exists...and men like him.Last edited by Barry Donovan; March 19, 2017, 06:45 PM.Previously boxer3main

I remembered a bangshift blog post, emailing senators via SEMA about the race car act.
got replies from all of them in maine.
susan collins is actually the most significant. understandable why it showed up last.

this is not a photo either...
but the photos in it are one of a kind.
I bought my big sony just for the northern lights. In Maine I look straight up when they happen.
they are ghostly, as if to lose the colors, heading to the sea to die without our eyes.
I had learned the energy looks for a destination.. it doesn't just float around.
Maine is like the warm spot with a glass edge called the atlantic attracting it..
the air force, and the first American radio communications have it in their history.. what maine freakishly does with the northern lights.Previously boxer3main
