How I spent my Friday afternoon........

HOT ROD is “where it all began,” as the first magazine to cover the hot rod culture. Since that time, HOT ROD has evolved into a brand devoted to everything from hot rods to restomods, barn finds to project cars and everything in between.

We have our second ZL1 with a couple more modifications at the track today. So far it has gone 10.79 @ 134. As far as we know, it is the first ZL1 in the 10's.

We have a great team at Lingenfelter. All the credit goes to them.

We need to start a pool on First in the Nines. After all this is the guys at Lingenfelter and Mike Copeland we're talking about. Tens to them is like 14s to the rest of us... :-)

We have another plan for our ZL1 in the near future.

Lingenfelter has been selected to receive one of the 69 COPO Camaros GM will produce is 2012. We are still working on the planned use. But, I guarantee the plan will include putting rubber on the quarter panels.

As I've already told you Mike, I will be very hurt if I'm not invited to the "play with the new COPO" day at the track.
