This makes me appreciate my Mercurys and the fact that they still survive basically unrestored.
This video show 1968 Ford cars being built at Fords various factories including, 1968 Ford Thunderbirds, 1968 Mercury Cougars, 1968 Ford Mustangs, and !968 F...Just groovin' to my own tune.

this is interesting.
It is like the speedway 95 up here in hampden maine.
I lived near this little one a lot of my life.
never been there, never heard of it.
this is drivers right off the street.
there is a sad part of gaining performance.. if you are brand loyal.. the drivers can make an ass of it themselves anyway.
I remember my first powerful machine, it was about a year into it before I was doing 70mph exit ramp slides onto another highway.
power is real easy to get..what an owner does to handle it is another story.
takes a long time sometimes.
I have even met some who think you need 600hp for a 10.4 quarter.
people and cars..it is funny.
my neighbor is selling his 3000gt. We don't talk, he is a bit off..
I caught him checking the B-pillar driver side many times by chance.. I ponder it gained the same problems as the Eclipse. Those cars ripped apart.
Very not funny, the rear left is what broke for the eigth time in my subaru.
AWD and tin cans.. shit happens.
looking at this track, pondering 70mph top speed.
where is the sarcastic hillbilly in 4lo and a 3/4 ton owning the whole show?Last edited by Barry Donovan; June 3, 2017, 10:25 PM.Previously boxer3main

nicks garage.. over in canada.
I am in maine, we do not look up to it.
on a long overdue bucket list.. I want to crossover in jackman maine, checkout the bigger places. Maybe cut back through new york, western mass...
a big loop.
montreal is about the same distance to me as Epping, NH. .. +60miles.
quebec city is 15 miles less than epping.
I am no doubt in the woods...Last edited by Barry Donovan; June 16, 2017, 06:34 PM.Previously boxer3main

strange odds for subaruwrxfan
I slid off the road in slow motion, rural area in my monte carlo SS.
Jumped into the passenger seat, sliding across a fresh slushed icy lawn..
like slow motion. Nothing high speed happening.
popped open the passenger door, the light came on..
to see a pine bow broken to a point right where my head would have been at the driver side.
driver side seat was crushed to less than a foot wide. The span between A and B pillar
had to pull the car off sideways.
the speed: 35mph.
that was my last G-body and fairy tales.Previously boxer3main

what is bangshift chad doing here.
I am glad they chose the 350...if to be honest.
I like seeing the dyno numbers.
it verifies a 305 on a manual going by a 350 automatic of the same generation.
I learned that 20 years ago...
..and now the giggling stopped to the 4.8 iron cramming a turbo onto mythological.
never make fun of the 305 again. Maybe they can try that one next.Last edited by Barry Donovan; June 26, 2017, 08:50 PM.Previously boxer3main

If I ever opened up a dump truck business, I'd probably end up hiring THIS guy before I realized it...
Frightening video shows the moment a big rig with its bucket raised struck a trestle over the East Loop, sending it crashing to the ground and crushing the truck.Charter member of the Turd Nuggets
